We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Customer Development Specialist ideally located in the North of England territory to join our Sales & Marketing team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to support procalcitonin (PCT) testing strategies in healthcare settings to advance the diagnosis of bacterial infection and antibiotic stewardship.

Description

  • Take accountability for account profiling, targeting, and developing of healthcare providers within designated region
  • Establish relationships with key customers from Laboratory Leadership, C-suite, and Clinical Leads
  • Define business strategies aligned with License Partners and related activities on target accounts
  • Gain agreement from key decision-makers for broad test utilization and hospital-wide protocol adoption
  • Analyze account dynamics to understand customer objectives and clinical challenges
  • Deliver education programs through 1:1 presentations and clinical sessions
  • Cooperate with regional Scientific Liaisons and Marketing teams to provide clinical insights
  • Represent Thermo Fisher at local, regional, national, and international meetings and events
  • Be accountable to an annual operating growth plan and specific activity metrics
  • Update relevant business data in the customer relationship management tool

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare/Medical Sciences, Biochemistry, or related field (equivalent experience considered; PhD preferred)
  • 3 - 5+ years of healthcare experience, preferably in diagnostic lab settings or customer development
  • Clinical/scientific background and experience in Health Economics and Market Access preferred
  • Proven track record in cross-functional healthcare environment
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to establish and develop strong customer relationships
  • Experience with customer segmentation and account mapping
  • Proficiency with SFDC CRM, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
