Senior Clinical Data Manager | Global CRO | Home Based | UK | Permanent
A leading global CRO is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Data Manager to join its growing clinical data management team. This fully home-based position offers the opportunity to lead data management activities across complex clinical trials while acting as the principal point of contact for clients and internal project teams.
You will take ownership of study-level data management deliverables, timelines and quality, combining strategic project leadership with hands-on clinical data management responsibilities.
What you will be doing:
- Leading data management activities and deliverables for assigned clinical trials.
- Developing and maintaining project plans, Data Management Plans and Data Quality Review Plans.
- Managing client communications, study timelines, resources and project status reporting.
- Supporting CRF/eCRF design, database development, UAT and post-launch modifications.
- Overseeing data review, query resolution, third-party data, SAE reconciliation and database lock.
- Training team members and clinical trial personnel on EDC systems and data management processes.
- Supporting audits, regulatory inspections, study meetings and final document archiving.

What you will need:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in health sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, biological sciences, physical sciences, chemistry or a related discipline.
- At least five years of clinical trial data management experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO sector.
- Alternatively, at least two years of experience as a Clinical Data Manager II or in an equivalent position.
- Strong knowledge of clinical data management processes, procedures, regulations, industry guidance, conventions and standards.
- Proven experience leading clinical data management activities and delivering high-quality work within agreed timelines.
- Hands-on experience with CRF/eCRF design, EDC systems, database development, UAT, data cleaning and database lock.
- Excellent client relationship management, communication and project leadership skills.
- A strong commitment to quality, customer satisfaction and the successful delivery of clinical trials.
