We are looking for a Clinical Deputy Manager who has proven experience in a senior nursing or supervisory role within the adult care sector and is dedicated to making every moment count.
This role will be split between Urray House Care Home in Muir of Ord and Lynemore Care Home in Grantown-on-Spey, working across both homes as required to support the needs of the services.
As a Clinical Deputy Manager, you will need to be adaptable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Strong leadership and communication skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively with your team, are essential. Your role will involve supporting the Care Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, overseeing clinical governance, supporting and mentoring nurses, ensuring high standards of person-centred care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

The Role...
- Support the Care Home Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the care home, including staffing, resident care, and regulatory compliance.
- Act as Care Home Manager in their absence, assuming full responsibility for the service.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to nurses and care staff, promoting high standards of compassionate and person-centred care.
- Assist with the induction, mentoring, training, and supervision of newly qualified nurses and care staff.
- Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, responding promptly and effectively to any changes in condition.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualised care plans for residents.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and assessments to identify areas for improvement and support continuous quality improvement.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues, and external professionals to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and best practice standards.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
- Hold a recognised nursing qualification with current NMC registration.
- Have a genuine passion for delivering exceptional care and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
