JOB DESCRIPTION:

Abbott’s Electrophysiology division is at the forefront of transforming cardiac care through cutting-edge technologies that diagnose and treat abnormal heart rhythms. With a fast-growing portfolio that includes advanced mapping systems, ablation catheters, and remote monitoring solutions, Abbott empowers clinicians to restore healthy heart function and improve patient outcomes.

Due to an internal move, we are currently looking for a Clinical Development Specialist to join our Electrophysiology team and cover key accounts in the London/South East UK region.

What you'll do:

  • Support strategic account plans with the Territory Manager and assist the sales team in driving trials and adoption of Abbott technology.
  • Provide on-site technical support during installations and throughout trial phases.
  • Deliver LMR and clinical project activities.
  • Prioritise Tier 1 customer accounts, with secondary focus on Tier 2.
  • Develop and deliver tailored training programmes and product presentations; ensure smooth handover to local teams post-trial.
  • Offer expert technical support to clinicians during Electrophysiology procedures and help onboard new centres.
  • Contribute to EP product promotion, education programmes, clinical training, and Abbott events.
  • Maintain strong technical and clinical knowledge of Abbott products, therapies, and market dynamics.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and share insights with Sales and Marketing.
  • Keep sales & activity tools updated with visit notes and relevant account information.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
