Your future, as a Clinical Director (Corporate Initiatives) at mydentist

You’ll be joining our Clinical Team within this field based role that is nationwide

The role is permanent and part time (up to 4 days)

  • Salary ranges from £99,000 to £102,000 per annum (pro rata)

Your future, your role

As a Clinical Director, you’ll be:

  • Provide clinical leadership to strategic programmes and transformation initiatives
  • Lead clinical workstreams or specific projects where clinical expertise is required, assigning and overseeing clinical resource to support where relevant
  • Ensure new processes, systems and ways of working are clinically safe, practical and support excellent patient care
  • Develop strong and collaborative relationships with senior leaders, clinicians and corporate colleagues to deliver shared objectives
  • Build credibility and influence across corporate and operational teams to ensure clinical considerations are reflected appropriately in strategic initiatives
  • Translate complex clinical issues into clear, actionable business recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Understand the needs of clinicians across the organisation and identify opportunities to improve their experience and effectiveness
  • Ensure corporate services are designed with clinicians’ and patients’ needs in mind and deliver measurable value
  • Champion high standards of clinical quality, patient safety and professional practice

Knowledge and Experience

  • General Dental Council (GDC) registration, and significant clinical practise experience in the UK is essential
  • Proven experience in a leadership role in a clinical environment
  • Extensive and demonstrable knowledge of statutory regulations relating to dentistry
  • Sound understanding of business and commercial environment and the need for effective management and controls

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Proven ability to take responsibility for keeping skills and knowledge up to date
  • Ability to grow and maintain professional network to drive business forward
  • Strong attention to detail, able to identify risks particularly where business stakeholders do not have the clinical knowledge to do so
  • Enjoy being part of a team that’s passionate about supporting our practices and ultimately helping the nation smile.
