The Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital
The Musculoskeletal Imaging fellowship at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital is a 12-month appointment that will embrace all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and musculoskeletal intervention.
The successful candidate will receive a broad exposure to musculoskeletal and spinal imaging, including bone tumor and sports injury imaging.
About the Fellowship
- Duration: 12 months
- Positions Available: Two
This is a whole-time radiology post based at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital. This post is aimed primarily at post CCT radiologists looking to improve their knowledge and skills in Musculoskeletal Imaging prior to application for a substantive consultant post.
Responsibilities
The fellow will participate in an intensive training program in all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging, which includes:
- Plain film radiographs
- MRI
- MR arthrography
- CT
- Ultrasound
- Image-guided percutaneous biopsy

There will also be an opportunity to gain experience in image-guided spinal intervention, including cementoplasties, and assist with radiofrequency and cryoablation cases.
