Clinical Governance Clinician
Fixed-Term Contract – 3 Months | Full Time 37.5 hours
£48,000 per annum (pro rata)

We're looking for a Clinical Governance Clinician to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality governance processes, driving excellence in patient safety, risk management, and quality assurance across our healthcare services.
Acacium Group are a leading global healthcare delivery partner and we are hiring a Clinical Governance Clinician. Part of Xyla Healthcare, this role will support the Clinical Governance function in ensuring effective governance systems, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and maintaining the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.
💡 About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Support the review, investigation and management of clinical incidents, complaints, risks and patient safety concerns.
- Analyse governance data, identify trends and provide recommendations to support service improvement and risk reduction.
- Lead or contribute to clinical audits, quality assurance activities and governance reporting.
- Work collaboratively with operational and clinical teams to ensure governance actions are implemented and monitored effectively.

- Strong understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, risk management and quality improvement principles.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

📚 Experience We're Looking For
- Current registration as a healthcare professional (NMC, HCPC or equivalent professional registration).
- Experience within a clinical governance, quality, patient safety, risk management or healthcare compliance role.
- Experience investigating incidents, complaints, serious events or supporting governance reviews.
- Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations, governance frameworks and quality assurance methodologies.
- Experience producing governance reports, analysing data and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Previous experience within healthcare, community healthcare, NHS or independent healthcare services is highly desirable.
