Clinical Governance Coordinator (Chiswick, Full-time, Office-based)

Do you want to make a difference to patient safety and enjoy bringing structure, rigour and attention to detail to the work that makes it happen?

DaVita International provides dialysis services across 14 countries. We’re looking for a Clinical Governance Coordinator to join our Clinical team in our International HQ, in Chiswick, West London, supporting clinical governance, patient safety and quality activities across those countries.

What will you be doing?

You’ll help keep our clinical governance activities running smoothly by:

  • Coordinating governance and risk meetings, preparing materials, taking minutes and following up on actions
  • Supporting reviews of patient safety events, including gathering information, developing timelines and tracking resulting actions
  • Maintaining the clinical risk register and making sure actions are followed through to completion
  • Supporting patient safety and quality improvement projects
  • Analysing clinical and safety data to help identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Preparing reports and presentations for clinical leaders
  • Managing workflows within our quality management system
  • Keeping clinical policies and procedures up to date and tracking their implementation across our countries

What are we looking for?

You might currently work in governance, quality, risk, compliance, project coordination or another role in a regulated environment. Healthcare experience would be highly advantageous, but it isn’t essential. You’ll be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong organisation skills and excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple actions, deadlines and priorities at the same time
  • Strong follow-through so you’ll be comfortable following up with people, keeping track of commitments and making sure actions move forward
  • An analytical mindset and confidence working with data
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • A practical, problem-solving approach and ability to work independently
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems and technology
  • Curiosity, adaptability and an interest in understanding how things can be improved

What does the Clinical team do at DaVita International?

Our International Clinical team works with clinical leaders across our countries to support safe, high-quality patient care. This includes understanding and learning from patient safety events, managing clinical risk, strengthening governance processes and identifying opportunities to continuously improve how we deliver care.

If you’re new to healthcare, we’ll help you build your understanding of the clinical environment. What matters is that you can organise complex activity, work with data and detail, and follow things through.
