Role Overview

We are recruiting a Clinical Governance Lead to provide expert advice and support to Borough and Clinical Directors, Service Managers, and Heads of Service, on patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and quality of care delivered; with a particular emphasis on ensuring incidents and patient feedback are reported, reviewed, and learning shared in accordance with best practice.

Responsibilities

  • To support a dynamic portfolio of clinical governance, patient safety, and patient feedback services to deliver the West London NHS Trust Quality and Patient Safety Strategy, and adhere to related policies and statutory expectations.
  • To work in a corporate and integrated way within the larger Clinical Governance Team.
  • To provide expert patient safety and patient experience support to Hammersmith and Fulham Borough mental health services.
  • To work across borough and service lines.
  • To take the lead on key Trust-wide clinical governance projects, as reasonable circumstances dictate, and as directed by their line manager.
