About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Helpline team, providing specialist support to patients receiving parenteral nutrition.

This role is primarily focused on delivering expert clinical advice through our Clinical Helpline, supporting patients, carers, and healthcare professionals with timely, evidence-based guidance. In addition, you will undertake protected clinical practice within our homecare service to maintain your clinical competencies, practical skills, and NMC revalidation requirements.

As part of this role, you will:

  • Provide expert, timely advice to patients, families, and healthcare professionals through our Clinical Helpline.
  • Assess, triage, and manage clinical enquiries, ensuring safe and appropriate escalation where required.
  • Deliver regular patient-facing clinical care through protected homecare practice to maintain competence in specialist nursing skills.
  • Contribute to the delivery of safe, high-quality care and continuous service improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for patients, carers, and healthcare professionals contacting the Clinical Helpline.
  • Undertake telephone clinical assessment and triage, providing evidence-based advice, clinical guidance, and reassurance.
  • Identify and appropriately escalate urgent or complex clinical concerns.
  • Coordinate referrals and liaise with NHS teams, homecare providers, and other healthcare professionals as required.
  • Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical documentation in accordance with NMC and organizational standards.
  • Support service quality improvement, clinical governance, audit, and incident reporting.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, mandatory training, and ongoing professional development.
  • Promote a positive patient experience through compassionate, person-centred communication.
  • Undertake protected clinical practice within the Homecare Service to maintain clinical competencies, specialist skills, and NMC revalidation requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
