Band 6 Clinical Lead
We are looking for a Band 6 Clinical Lead to join our established team in our modern Dementia Assessment Unit in Macclesfield. Silk Ward is a 15-bed mixed gender ward providing specialist inpatient assessment and treatment for people with Dementia.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a passion for Dementia care, development of services and systems, and knowledge of supervision and audit processes. The ideal applicant will also have a good understanding of the leadership style required to be part of a ward leadership team to support the Ward Manager in delivering a high-quality mental health service.
Responsibilities
- Working within set objectives which reflect the direction of the service and the Trust.
- Providing clinical leadership within the ward team to promote a high standard of patient care.
- Providing management support, deputising for the Ward Manager in their absence.
- Source of expertise for clinical practice for the care team.
- Able to demonstrate, through personal skills and achievement, a high level of patient care, using processes such as role modelling and supervision.
- To undertake audit of evidence-based interventions to ensure continued best practice.
- Engage with MDT to ensure holistic patient centred care planning.
- Able to assess, evaluate and advise staff on care planning and discharge planning.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills in the identification and management of risk.
- Develop ways to improve efficiency and patient care.

Recruitment Process
