Clarence Park Residential & Nursing Care Home

Clarence Park Residential & Nursing Care Home is a well established service in Weston-super-Mare, located close to the seafront and set within a characterful Victorian townhouse. Supporting up to 43 residents, the home provides high quality nursing, respite and palliative care within a calm, welcoming and team focused environment where staff can build meaningful relationships and make a genuine difference every day.

Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN/RMN) Contract

  • £24.50 per hour
  • Contracted to 40 hours per week
  • Paid DBS, pension and uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

Ongoing specialist training, clinical updates and funded professional development, with opportunities to progress into senior leadership roles within Willinbrook Healthcare.

Job Role

As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you will support the Home Manager in the clinical and operational oversight of our specialist complex care service, ensuring safe, effective and person-centred care is delivered to individuals living with complex physical disabilities, neurological conditions, acquired brain injuries and other long-term healthcare needs. This is a senior nursing position where your clinical expertise and leadership will have a direct impact on the quality, safety and outcomes of the care we provide.

  • Provide visible clinical leadership to the nursing and care teams
  • Ensure care is delivered in line with individual support plans, evidence-based practice and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee clinical practice, support complex clinical decision-making, monitor outcomes, promote best practice and ensure safe medication management while maintaining the highest standards of care throughout the service

Working collaboratively with residents, families, multidisciplinary professionals and external healthcare partners, you will help deliver holistic, person-centred care that supports rehabilitation, maximises independence and enhances quality of life. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring care is responsive to each individual's changing needs.

What We Are Looking For

  • Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN
  • Previous experience working within complex care, neurological care, rehabilitation or specialist healthcare settings is desirable
  • Strong clinical leadership and decision-making skills
  • Experience leading or supporting nursing and multidisciplinary teams
  • Confidence overseeing clinical practice, medication management and care standards
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work proactively, supporting the Home Manager in delivering safe, effective and high-quality specialist care
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based, person-centred care while promoting dignity, independence and positive outcomes
