Clinical Lead – All Age Continuing Care

Xyla Care Assessments (part of Acacium Group)

Remote working, with occasional travel for face-to-face meetings

Fixed Term Contract – 6 Months with potential extension, Full-Time 37 hours

£60,000 per annum


About the Role

We are hiring a Clinical Lead – All Age Continuing Care to join Xyla Care Assessments, a specialist healthcare service supporting the delivery of Continuing Healthcare assessments, reviews and appeals across the UK.

In this role, you will provide clinical leadership across All Age Continuing Care, Retrospective Reviews and Appeals services, ensuring delivery against contract requirements, national frameworks and quality standards. You will champion clinical excellence, drive continuous improvement and support the delivery of outstanding outcomes for patients and their families.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight across All Age Continuing Care services, ensuring delivery aligns with national frameworks, governance standards and contractual KPIs.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives, embedding a culture of clinical excellence and continuous improvement across services.
  • Act as an escalation point for clinical and operational issues, supporting contract performance and service delivery.
  • Drive clinical governance through the review of incidents, complaints, audits and service data, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide expert clinical advice to internal stakeholders, clients and partners, supporting service development, bids and tenders.

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • Registered Clinical Professional with extensive experience in All Age Continuing Care, Retrospective Reviews and Appeals at a managerial level.
  • Extensive knowledge and practical application of the National Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare and Funded Nursing Care (FNC).
  • Experience managing Continuing Care services across General, Mental Health and Learning Disability workstreams.
  • Experience working with NHS Commissioners, Local Authorities and Health and Social Care providers, alongside strong leadership and people management skills.
