Role Description
The Clinical Lead is a full-time hybrid role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with some work from home flexibility. The role involves overseeing clinical standards across domiciliary, home care, and complex care services, ensuring safe, person-centred care for adults and children. The Clinical Lead will support staff training and supervision, contribute to clinical governance and audit activities, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practice guidelines. The role also includes collaborating with external partners, participating in service development, and supporting the integration of clinical insights into recruitment, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with service users, families, multidisciplinary teams, and external stakeholders.
- Solid Medicine-related knowledge and clinical expertise appropriate for leading complex care services, ideally with experience in adult and pediatric care.
- Training skills, including the ability to mentor, supervise, and deliver clinical education to healthcare staff.
- Research and Clinical Research skills, with the ability to interpret evidence-based guidelines and contribute to quality improvement and audit activities.
- Relevant professional registration (e.g., NMC or equivalent) and a recognised clinical qualification are essential.
- Registered Children's Nurse or Registered Nurse with experience with children with complex health conditions.
- Experience delivering complex care in the community and familiarity with CQC and NMC regulations and safeguarding standards are highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with strong organisational and digital documentation skills.
