An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Dietitian to join our leadership team as Clinical Lead Dietitian for Diabetes & Weight Management.
This is a key leadership role within NHS Fife's Nutrition & Dietetic Service, providing strategic, professional and operational leadership across Diabetes and Weight Management services. Working closely with the Head of Service and fellow Clinical Leads, you will play a pivotal role in service transformation, workforce development and the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
- You will have the opportunity to shape and influence developments across diabetes, weight management and preventative health services at a time of significant national and local transformation.
- You will lead a skilled team, providing professional and clinical leadership while shaping future services through innovation, quality improvement and service development.
- The successful candidate will have significant experience working at a senior level, with a proven ability to lead teams, manage change and build effective relationships across organisational and professional boundaries.
This is an exciting time to join the service as we continue to develop new models of care, expand multidisciplinary approaches to obesity and diabetes management, and strengthen our focus on prevention, self-management and reducing health inequalities.

We support undergraduate and graduate student placements (A, B and C), offer rotational opportunities for newly qualified Dietitians, and host regular education and continuing professional development sessions

Requirements
- A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
- To work in the United Kingdom, there is a legal requirement for an individual to demonstrate that they have the relevant permission to work in the country. This permission is, without exception, granted by the UK Visa and Immigrations Service.
