South West London
Up to £120,000 FTE + Golden Hello (£3–5k), dependent on experience and sessions
Permanent | Full Time / Part Time | GP Practice
The opportunity
A GP-led NHS primary care organisation is seeking an experienced GP to take on a Clinical Lead role at one of its practices, supporting a large, diverse patient population in South West London.
- 6–8 sessions per week, with the leadership/clinical split shaped around you
- Reporting into the Medical Director

The role
You'll be a first point of contact for the clinical team on day-to-day issues and complex cases. Working closely with the practice management team, you'll help shape access arrangements, triage and capacity planning. You'll take ownership of clinical governance, covering significant events, audits, prescribing safety and complaints learning, and will lead on QOF and IIF performance. There's a supervisory element too, developing GPs, nurses, pharmacists and ARRS staff, and you'll keep a caseload of your own clinical sessions so your leadership stays connected to frontline practice.

What we're looking for
A GP at least 2 years post-CCT who's a natural go-to for colleagues seeking advice. Previous leadership job titles aren't essential, but you should be able to point to something you've led through to completion, a team, a project, a governance piece, or similar. You'll bring a calm, fair approach and confidence in navigating tricky conversations.

Essential:
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
- NHS Performers List inclusion
- MRCGP or CCT in general practice
