Role: Clinical Lead Physiotherapist

Location: HCA UK at The Shard Outpatients, part of London Bridge Hospital Campus

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week between Monday-Friday

Shifts: 5 x 7.5 hour shifts between 0800-2000, with a mixture of earlies and lates

Contract type: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Lead Physiotherapist to join our Outpatient Physiotherapy team at The Shard, part of London Bridge Hospital, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC. The Shard Outpatients, our largest outpatient facility, delivers specialist diagnostic and treatment services across a broad range of specialties including Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine, Neurology, Pain Management, Women's Health and Physiotherapy.

Working within our Outpatient Therapies department, you will provide clinical leadership across our Physiotherapy and Hand Therapy services while maintaining a highly specialised clinical caseload within your area of expertise. Working closely with the Outpatient Physiotherapy Lead and wider multidisciplinary team, you will help drive clinical excellence, service development and quality improvement initiatives, whilst deputising for the Outpatient Physiotherapy Lead in their absence.

You will support and develop colleagues through clinical supervision, mentoring and education, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and evidence-based care across a broad range of outpatient specialities. As a senior clinician, you will lead on clinical governance activities including audit, outcome measurement and service improvement projects, while building strong relationships with consultants, referrers and key stakeholders.

Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will manage a highly specialised caseload, using advanced clinical reasoning skills to assess, diagnose and treat complex patients, while providing clinical experience and support across MSK, Neuro & Oncology as required. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist with strong clinical and leadership skills to play a key role within one of the UK's leading private healthcare providers.

What You'll Bring

  • Relevant Physiotherapy Degree
  • HCPC Registration
  • Significant post graduate experience in area of specialism
  • Experience in a clinical leadership position
  • Relevant Clinical postgraduate qualification (or working towards)
