We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Danesbury Neurological Rehabilitation Centre on a 6-month fixed-term basis as Clinical Lead.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician to provide clinical leadership within our inpatient neuro-rehab service, supporting adults with stroke, traumatic brain injury and progressive neurological conditions.

The successful candidate will lead the delivery of a high-quality, evidence-based Speech and Language Therapy service, managing a complex caseload while supporting the development of staff and services. Working as part of a well-established multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to rehabilitation planning, service improvement initiatives and the delivery of person-centred care that maximises independence, participation and quality of life.

You will work closely with colleagues across the wider Adult Speech and Language Therapy Service, including acute, stroke, neuro-rehabilitation and community teams.

The post offers opportunities to develop leadership skills, contribute to quality improvement and support the professional development of others through supervision and mentorship. This role would suit an experienced Speech and Language Therapist with a strong background in neurological rehabilitation, excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding patient care.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
