Clinical Lead - First Response Services in Wirral
An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen for a full-time Clinical Lead within our First Response Services in Wirral, based with our Liaison Psychiatry Team.
The successful applicant will be expected to work across Urgent Care Mental Health First Response Services, which will include Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Teams, Liaison Services, Street Triage Services, Liaison and Diversion Services, and the Crisis Line.
Job Details
- Position: Full-time Clinical Lead
- Hours: Part-time, 34.5 hours per week
- Location: Wirral, based with the Liaison Psychiatry Team
Responsibilities
- To support the Team Manager in delivering a high-quality mental health service for clients of the Adult Mental Health Services, Wirral.
- To provide clinical leadership within the team and management support, deputising for the Team Manager in their absence.
- The post holder will be expected to work autonomously within a multi-disciplinary framework, providing training and staff development, specialist assessment, clinical support, and time-limited intervention to service users.
- The post holder will act as a source of expertise and point of contact within the team and demonstrate highly specialized communication skills and problem-solving abilities when prioritizing risk.

Induction and Training
All new starters will commence in post on one fixed start date each month, in line with our Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme date. P2C offers up to 3 weeks of training to support you to meet the induction / initial training requirements of the role.
