Summary
We’re looking for an FY3 or above to join our early stage AI medical simulation startup. Salary is £45-80K depending on experience, with 1% equity. We’re backed by Antler, the same VCs that invested in Lovable and Airalo. Check out what got them excited about what we’re doing here.
We don’t care about what med school you sent to or what grades you have, we look for people that have a record of doing cool and innovative things. Medical simulation is our wedge into the market, the data we capture has applications across AI eval benchmarks, insurance and workforce deployment - areas we’re already exploring.

What problem is Bleep64 solving:
It’s 2026 and medical simulation is still done using mannequins and actors, this costs institutions and hospitals millions per year whilst the public faces outrageous waiting times and staff pay / unemployment rates are laughable. Simulation is the most effective form of medical training, and there has been zero innovation in years. This industry is stuck in the nineties.
Some insane numbers from 2025:
- Guys and St Thomas’ = £170k on 2 sim mannequins
- Leeds med school = £250k on sim software
- Hull-York med school = £300k on actors

That’s why we built Bleep64. A gamified platform for patient simulations and case based discussions using AI. We’ve developed a clinical robustness framework to ensure we responsibly deploy this technology into the curriculum, and have worked hard on features that ensure students are ward and exam ready. This includes a placement co-pilot, multiplayer modes for study rooms, passmed integrations and personalised learning plans.
Progress so far 🚀 (launched 12 months ago)
- Acquired 3k+ users across every UK medical school in 7 months with zero paid acquisition
- 1.5M+ organic social views driving 12k simulations completed
- 90% satisfaction rate
- NPS +60
- 70% PMF score
- Consumer traction already converting to commercial deals - 3 design partners signed, with pilots kicking off this year
- Built an industry leading clinical robustness framework - we ensure that every simulation is clinically accurate with this framework, we don’t believe in ‘just trust the AI bro’

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Founders:
- Talvin Ramnah - ex-Head of Special Projects at RevisionDojo (YC backed, $1M revenue, 300K users in year one), specialist in deploying AI responsibly in education
- Taiyyib Arshad - medical student at KCL, 7.5M views across socials, global medical school network
Role and Responsibilities
We are an early stage startup, your role will focus on product, but you’ll be a generalist. If you’re hungry and keen to learn this is the environment for you!
Product
- Building sims: Design, build and test our simulations. This is our main user interaction, so we spend a lot of time testing sims and iterating our feedback rubrics so trainees can actually improve. You should reflect on your real-life clinical experiences to build new sims, and have strong opinions on how they flow.
- Developing new features: Work closely with Talvin and Lyubomir on the product and engineering side to ideate and iterate on new features. If you're keen on becoming more technical and learning how to build products this is where you'll learn how to do that
- User analytics: You'll use our analytics platform to understand how users are responding to new features and what usage is like on existing ones
Distribution
- Conferences and networking: this industry requires us to be in-person with clients. Being a friendly face at conferences where we’re exhibiting and taking a genuine interest in the pain points faculty and learners experience with their current sim set up is key.
Misc
- Fundraising: work with founders to develop data room, prepare material and provide clinical credibility and insight in investor meetings
- Research and writing: supporting the authorship of academic papers and whitepapers that build our clinical credibility.
- Being close to users: we fix bugs same day, we get in the room with them, we speak to them constantly. That culture starts with you
Who We're Looking For
We won’t lie to you, selling to universities and hospitals is a slog. However, it is very rewarding to have an impact on a broken and archaic industry. To succeed in this role you need to be highly driven because sales cycles are long a bureaucratic - all part of the fun of on early stage startup!

Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
We're looking for a future founder. If you want to have your own startup one day, this is the fastest path to getting there
You learn fast and you're naturally curious. Every day here is different. You'll be writing a paper one week, in a medical school the next, and debugging a product flow the week after.
Ideally, you’ve had experience teaching. Whether formally as a teaching fellow, or just to be helpful - you value education and understand how important it is.
You share our values:
- Be curious: always ask questions, try new tools, learn new things
- Transparency: we're a small team and an open book we expect the same from you
- Attention to detail: fix bugs same day and make sure users are getting maximum value from the product
Talvin started his career as a founder associate. we know exactly what people in this role are looking for, and we invest in you accordingly. The role is designed to evolve, month 1 looks very different to month 6. If you're good, you'll have more responsibility than most people get in three years elsewhere.
Who we’re not looking for
This isn’t a corporate role for someone that’s looking for a 9-5. We’re an early stage startup, that means we sometimes work late nights and weekends, but with a healthy amount of work-life balance.
We don’t have a lot of internal structure, so you’re expected to figure things out as you go. However, we do aim to be organised in our chaos with clear documentation, communication and product thinking
What are the benefits of working at Bleep64?
We’re a small, cross-functional team where we are constantly using our skills to teach each other. If you work with us, you can expect:
- Salary: £45K-£80K (depending on experience)
- The opportunity to learn how a growth-phase start-up operates, first hand
- Direct exposure to start-up Founders
- Flexible hybrid working; core office days are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in central London - as long as your work is done we’re happy
- If you’re working late or weekends put expenses on your company card
- When we’re in the office we always eat lunch together
