Clinical Negligence Solicitor, 0:3 Years PQE, London, Circa GBP 65,000 DOE

The Role

You will handle a varied caseload of pre-issue and litigated claims under supervision, providing sensitive and high quality advice to clients throughout what can often be a challenging and emotional process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting witness statements
  • Instructing medical experts
  • Reviewing medical reports
  • Advising clients
  • Instructing and liaising with Counsel
  • Attending conferences
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to develop and maintain strong client relationships

You will also contribute to business development and the continued growth of the Clinical Negligence practice.

The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from Solicitors with 0:3 Years PQE and ideally have some experience of clinical negligence work, although candidates with relevant litigation experience and a genuine desire to specialise in this area are encouraged. Essential qualities include:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Ability to meet litigation deadlines
