Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Manchester – Up to £75,000
A leading UK law firm is looking to recruit a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its specialist healthcare team in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join a growing team handling a varied caseload of complex healthcare matters. You will work with a broad range of healthcare clients and have the opportunity to develop your technical expertise, client relationships, and wider legal experience.
The role offers a varied workload, excellent progression opportunities, and a flexible working environment.
The Role:
- Manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters across pre-litigation and litigated claims
- Conduct claims independently or provide support on more complex matters
- Draft pleadings, correspondence, and detailed legal advice
- Attend hearings and undertake advocacy where appropriate
- Provide high-quality, commercially focused advice to clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Support the development of junior colleagues through supervision and mentoring
- Contribute to business development and wider team initiatives
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the healthcare practice
- Ensure matters are managed efficiently and in line with agreed deadlines and service standards

About You:
- A Qualified Solicitor with experience in clinical negligence
- Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and claims management
- Excellent technical, drafting, and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commercially aware with a client-focused approach
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Confident managing a varied caseload and competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal and IT skills
