Clinical Nurse Lead – Komplex Care
📍 Telford (Head Office) | Competitive Salary + Benefits

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional complex care? Do you have the clinical expertise and leadership skills to support care teams, develop staff and ensure the highest standards of person-centred care?
Komplex Care is looking for a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Lead to join our team. This is a key clinical leadership position, supporting the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality care across complex care packages in the community.
You’ll play a central role in providing clinical leadership, supporting care teams and ensuring clients receive care that promotes their health, independence, dignity and quality of life.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing clinical leadership and oversight across complex care packages, ensuring safe, effective and high-quality care delivery
- Acting as a key clinical point of contact for nurses, care teams, families and healthcare professionals
- Conducting regular clinical assessments, reviews and care plan evaluations, responding to changes in clients’ health and care needs
- Supporting and developing nurses and care staff through clinical supervision, mentoring, coaching and competency assessments
- Delivering and overseeing specialist clinical training, ensuring staff are confident and competent to provide the required level of care
- Working closely with the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), families and external professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care
- Providing clinical guidance and support around complex conditions, clinical interventions, risk management and safeguarding
- Monitoring clinical standards across care packages and identifying opportunities for quality improvement and best practice
- Supporting clinical governance, audits, incident reviews and compliance, ensuring learning is embedded across the service
- Reviewing and contributing to clinical policies, protocols and procedures to support safe and consistent practice
- Supporting the transition and mobilisation of new complex care packages, ensuring appropriate clinical planning and staff competency is in place
- Promoting a culture of professional accountability, continuous development, dignity, independence and person-centred care throughout the service

What We’re Looking For
- Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN
- Experience working within complex care, community nursing or a similar clinical environment
- Strong clinical knowledge and confidence in supporting individuals with complex health needs
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care is desirable, although training can be provided
- Proven leadership, mentoring and clinical teaching skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management, clinical governance and care planning
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families and external professionals
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and clinical/care management systems
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between care packages
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
- Mentoring or practice assessor qualification
- Previous experience in community nursing or complex care
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of clinical audits, governance frameworks and quality improvement
- Experience supporting staff development and competency assessments
