Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist (RMN with Nurse Prescribing Qualification)
We are looking for a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist (RMN with Nurse Prescribing Qualification) with advanced clinical skills to join the Female Acute Inpatient Pathway in Hellesdon. We want applicants who are keen to be part of transformation and improvement in the area of our acute care pathway; people who can offer strong clinical leadership, education, and mentoring to the team.
We value creativity, innovation, and passion towards providing excellent patient care; a resilient practitioner, who is aware of and able to cope with the pressure and unpredictability of acute ward.
The successful candidate will work closely alongside the multidisciplinary team (MDT), providing expert clinical leadership, supporting complex clinical decision-making, and championing high standards of evidence-based care.
There are two posts available, one on Kestrel ward, which is an all-female 16-bed ward, and Waveney ward, an all-female acute 17-bed ward. We are looking for highly motivated CNSs to bring their experience and leadership skills to enhance the team.

You will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to the clinical team in the care, treatment, and therapy of the client group, with a clear focus on clinical risk and its management, care planning, and coordination of care delivery within a well-resourced team, supported with regular supervision and providing opportunities to work in partnership with health and social care, linking into the multidisciplinary service.
You will be able to influence, lead, and motivate staff at all levels within the clinical environment to deliver high-quality care. As a CNS, you will provide expertise, support, and advice to clinical practitioners regarding all aspects of clinical care, including implementing best practice based on evidence-based practice and National Guidance.
