Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist in Symptom and Palliative Care for Children and Young People
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and compassionate Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist in Symptom and Palliative Care for Children and Young People. This part-time role is based at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, where you will be a key part of a specialist team providing high-quality palliative care services to children and young people with cancer.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing a comprehensive and high-quality symptom and palliative care service to children and young people (CYP) receiving treatment at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and their families.
- Working with other members of the CYPOONS team and the Consultant in Paediatric Palliative Care to provide advanced nursing care to this patient group.
- Being a clinical expert, sound educator, committed researcher, and proficient leader.

Working Environment
- Working with and supporting multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs) in the Royal Marsden Hospital, Primary Care Trusts (PCTs), voluntary sector, and Paediatric Oncology Shared Care Units (POSCUs), to coordinate and manage symptom and palliative care for this cohort of CYPs across settings.
