Are you an experienced cancer nurse with specialist expertise in haematology, looking for an opportunity to help shape and develop specialist nursing provision?

We’re expanding our Clinical Nurse Specialist network across GenesisCare UK and are introducing a number of new CNS roles to strengthen specialist support across our centres. As part of this investment, we’re looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist – Haematology to join our team in Windsor.

This is a newly established role, giving you the opportunity to influence how specialist haematology nursing support is delivered locally while being part of a wider national CNS network.

As our Clinical Nurse Specialist – Haematology, you’ll act as a designated Key Worker for patients undergoing anticancer treatment, providing expert, personalised support throughout their cancer journey.

Working closely with consultants, nursing teams and the wider multidisciplinary team, you’ll coordinate care, provide specialist advice and help ensure patients experience a seamless pathway. You’ll also play an important role in developing clinical standards, strengthening pathways and supporting the continued development of our CNS service.

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as Key Worker for a defined clinical caseload, coordinating care and providing accessible specialist support throughout the patient journey.
  • Assess patients’ physical, psychological and social needs and undertake Holistic Needs Assessments (HNA), developing personalised care plans.
  • Provide expert haematology nursing advice, education and support to patients, families and carers.
  • Work autonomously, managing your own caseload and contributing to nurse-led clinics.
  • Work closely with consultants and the multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated, evidence-based care.
  • Actively participate in MDT meetings and contribute to the development of effective treatment pathways.
  • Support patients to understand and manage their care, promoting appropriate self-management and access to local support services.
  • Contribute to service development, quality improvement, audit and the ongoing development of clinical standards.
  • Provide specialist education and support to colleagues across the wider clinical team.
  • Help shape and develop specialist haematology nursing provision within Windsor and across the wider GenesisCare CNS network.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
