Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology Clinical Nurse Specialist
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dedicated team. As a key member of the team, you will combine clinical expertise with compassionate care, supporting patients and families through sensitive and often complex health journeys. You will play a central role in delivering personalised, high-quality care, helping young people to better understand and manage their health in a supportive and empowering environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team while also developing your own autonomous practice. You will contribute to shaping and advancing the service, bringing innovation, enthusiasm, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities
- Manage a specialist caseload across the Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology service, including the Children and Young People’s FGC/M service, Complex Congenital Gynaecology and Differences of Sex Development.
- Support timely access to treatment, monitoring progress, and maintaining clear communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Act as a key point of contact for patients and families, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to support assessment, treatment planning, continuity of care, and communication across services.
- Lead specialist vaginal dilatation therapy for patients with vaginal agenesis and those requiring post-operative dilatation.
- Contribute to the general adolescent gynaecology service, providing care for adolescents with menstrual dysfunction with consultant support.
- Provide sensitive, age-appropriate information and emotional support to patients and families.
- Advocate for patients, promote informed decision-making, and ensure that safeguarding needs are recognised and appropriately addressed.
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives, support clinical governance requirements, and maintain accurate documentation.
