Clinical Operations Manager - Mobile CT and MRI Services

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Operations Manager to lead our Mobile CT and MRI services across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished radiography professional with a background in mobile diagnostic imaging to take on a leadership role focused on operational excellence, clinical quality, and service delivery.

Role Overview
As the Clinical Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and performance of CT and MRI services, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with the highest clinical standards. You will work closely with NHS and independent healthcare partners, supporting teams across multiple locations while driving continuous improvement and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational and clinical leadership across multiple mobile CT and MRI services.
- Ensure safe, effective, and high-quality diagnostic imaging services are delivered at all locations.
- Lead, motivate, and develop multidisciplinary teams, including Radiographers and Clinical Support Staff.
- Lead clinical teams and performance management.
- Support with recruitment and onboarding.
- Monitor service performance, utilisation, KPIs, patient throughput, and quality metrics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with NHS Trusts, private healthcare providers, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with HCPC, CQC, IR(ME)R, Health & Safety, and company policies.
- Support mobilisation of new contracts and service expansions.
- Investigate incidents, manage risk, and implement corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and patient experience.
- Work closely with senior leadership teams to support strategic objectives and business growth.
- Participate in the on-call rota, providing operational leadership and decision-making support outside core business hours.

About You
Essential
- HCPC-registered Radiographer.
- Significant experience working within both CT and MRI modalities.
- Previous experience working within mobile imaging services.
- Proven leadership or management experience within diagnostic imaging.
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing operational performance across multiple sites or locations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel extensively and support services nationally.
Desirable
- Postgraduate qualification in CT, MRI, Leadership, or Healthcare Management.
- Experience managing mobile healthcare units or community diagnostic services.
- Knowledge of service mobilisation and contract management.
- Experience working with both NHS and independent healthcare organisations.
