About The Role
We are seeking a Clinical Paediatric Site Engagement Specialist (Paediatric Clinical Research Engagement Specialist, Paediatric Site Partnerships Specialist) to join our team in a remote capacity in the UK or Belgium.
As a Clinical Paediatric Site Engagement Specialist, you will play a critical role in advancing paediatric migraine research across Europe by strengthening relationships with investigators and clinical research sites, accelerating site activation and enrolment, and supporting successful study execution.
This position is central to improving recruitment performance, enhancing investigator engagement, and helping bring innovative therapies to paediatric patients through high-quality clinical research. Responsibilities include site identification and evaluation, investigator and site engagement, support for feasibility and startup activities, recruitment and enrolment optimization, and the collection of site intelligence to inform study strategy. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on study outcomes while partnering with experienced clinical development and operations teams.

You’ll join a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment focused on improving site performance, accelerating patient enrolment, and supporting successful execution of the Paediatric Migraine Program. With diverse teams and continuous learning opportunities, the Clinical Paediatric Site Engagement Specialist can expand expertise across paediatric clinical development, site engagement strategy, and clinical operations while contributing to research that has the potential to improve the lives of children living with migraine.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate new paediatric migraine clinical research sites across Europe.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with paediatric investigators, children's hospitals, paediatric headache centres, and study site personnel.
- Support site feasibility assessments, startup activities, site activation, and enrolment initiatives.
- Identify and address barriers to participant recruitment, enrolment, and retention.
- Support intervention and recovery efforts for underperforming study sites.
- Gather investigator feedback and site intelligence to inform study execution and recruitment strategies.
- Partner with study teams to prioritize opportunities and mitigate enrolment risks.
- Conduct frequent in-person site visits and investigator engagements throughout Europe.
Candidate Profile

- Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience supporting paediatric clinical trials, paediatric research sites, or paediatric investigator networks.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with clinical development, clinical operations, study management, and cross-functional study teams.
- A patient-focused mindset with a commitment to improving access to paediatric clinical research.
- Experience supporting site identification, feasibility, startup, recruitment, enrolment, and study execution activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Clinical Research, Public Health, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant clinical research experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting paediatric clinical trials, paediatric research sites, or paediatric investigator networks.
- Experience working directly with investigators and clinical trial sites.
- Experience supporting site identification, feasibility, startup, recruitment, and enrolment activities.
- Established relationships with children's hospitals, paediatric neurology programs, paediatric headache centres, or paediatric research institutions across Europe.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout Europe, with a minimum of 50% travel.

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MS, MPH, PharmD, MD, PhD, NP, PA, or equivalent).
- 5-7+ years of experience in paediatric clinical development, paediatric neurology, migraine, neuroscience, or paediatric clinical research.
- Existing network of paediatric investigators and research coordinators across Europe.
- Prior experience as a CRA, Site Care Partner, Clinical Trial Manager, Study Manager, Clinician, or Clinical Operations professional.
- Experience supporting multi-country European clinical trials and working across multiple European healthcare systems.
- Experience in recruitment recovery, enrolment acceleration, and site rescue activities.
