Headline
Are you passionate about delivering specialist pharmacy care that makes a real difference to patients undergoing cancer treatment?
At The London Clinic, our Cancer Services team is at the forefront of oncology and haematology care, supporting patients through every stage of their treatment journey. We're looking for a Clinical Pharmacist who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team, and is committed to delivering safe, innovative and personalised patient care. Whether you're reviewing complex chemotherapy regimens, advising clinicians on specialist medicines, or helping shape the future of cancer services, you'll play a critical role in achieving the very best outcomes for our patients.
A little about the role
As part of our specialist Cancer Services Pharmacy team, we work closely with consultants, nurses, pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure our patients receive exceptional pharmaceutical care throughout their treatment.
We are involved in every stage of the patient journey, from reviewing and validating complex chemotherapy prescriptions to supporting medicines optimisation and providing expert pharmaceutical advice. No two days are the same. One day we may be supporting inpatient oncology wards and participating in multidisciplinary discussions, while the next we could be contributing to service development projects, supporting aseptic services, or helping to educate colleagues across the hospital.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
