Are you looking to move away from traditional retail pharmacy and into the fast-growing world of Digital Health?

Cloud Pharmacy is an established and expanding online pharmacy based in Livingston. Operating from our newly expanded, state-of-the-art premises, we provide modern pharmacy services focused on clinical excellence, patient safety, and innovation.

We are now looking for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our on-site team.

Independent Prescribers and non-prescribers are both welcome to apply.

The Role

This is a clinical, dispensary-based position within a regulated online pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of pharmacy services.

For Independent Prescribers, the role will also include a dedicated prescribing day, focusing on clinical assessment and prescribing within your competence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical screening and accuracy checking of prescriptions
  • Ensuring safe supply in line with GPhC standards and internal SOPs
  • Conducting patient consultations via telephone
  • Responding to clinical queries via email
  • Supporting dispensary and customer service teams
  • Acting as Responsible Pharmacist on a rota basis
  • Maintaining regulatory compliance and high professional standards
  • Identifying and reporting near misses to promote a strong patient safety culture

For Independent Prescribers:

  • Dedicated prescribing day as part of your rota
  • Clinical assessment and prescribing within agreed scope of practice
  • Managing patients within services such as weight management and other online clinical pathways

About You

  • GPhC Registered Pharmacist (Essential)
  • Independent Prescriber qualification (not essential)
  • Patient-focused with high professional standards
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Confident verbal and written communicator
  • Comfortable working with digital systems
  • Organised and able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience in online/digital pharmacy
  • Interest or experience in weight management (including GLP-1 therapies)

Newly qualified pharmacists are encouraged to apply.
