A rare opportunity to grow into ownership of an established Pilates and rehabilitation practice.
After 25 years, Applied Pilates | The Sogunro Practice is looking for the practitioner who will one day take it over. This is a full-time, self-employed role with a clear 2–3 year pathway to managing, and then owning, the business.
About us
The Sogunro Practice is a specialist Applied Pilates and Osteolates Therapy studio in London Colney, St Albans, established in 2001. It is led by founder Teejay Sogunro (STOTT PILATES Full Comprehensive and Rehabilitation certified, CNHC-registered, former Rehab Pilates Sports Therapist at Watford FC). We have built a loyal client base and a strong reputation for exercise-based rehabilitation and clinical Pilates across Hertfordshire.
The opportunity
This is not a standard instructor role. You will join our Pilates studio and clinic treatment room, work alongside the founder, build your own caseload and take on increasing responsibility for running the practice. Over two to three years, you will have the option to buy the business through a structured, agreed handover.
Who we're looking for
A qualified Pilates equipment instructor with an interest in rehabilitation, or a practitioner with a background in sports therapy, rehab Pilates, osteopathy or physiotherapy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
