We are developing exciting opportunities for working within Moreton Ward. We invite applications for this key educational role within Moreton Ward, with an emphasis on Respiratory Medicine.
About the Role
The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to promote clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with other clinicians such as Respiratory Specialist Nurses and the DAIRS team.
- As an experienced Registered Nurse, develop Respiratory Nursing by delivering an educational programme to all levels of staff, including health care assistants, student nurses, preceptees, and those more experienced for their continuing development.
- Improve clinical practice, expertise, and the patient experience.
Duties
- Support the Education, Learning and Development function within the specialty of Respiratory Medicine, specifically Moreton Ward.
- Plan, design, and deliver evidence-based training using a blended approach of classroom and practice-based strategies.
- Work collaboratively with the Matron & Senior Sister/ Charge Nurse to ensure the delivery of effective, high-quality, safe patient-centred care.
