Clinical Project Manager

We're looking for an experienced Clinical Project Manager for a contract role in clinical operations. You'll lead clinical trial delivery across UK and European sites and own the study end-to-end, including timelines, budgets, vendors and cross-functional teams.

Location: Manchester, UK

Day rate: £450–£550 per day (IR35 status to be confirmed)

Contract: Initial 6–12 months, likely extension

What you'll do:

  • Lead planning, execution and close-out of clinical trials, managing scope, timelines, budget and risk
  • Manage CROs and third-party vendors, including selection, contracting and performance oversight
  • Oversee site selection, feasibility, start-up and patient recruitment strategies
  • Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP, UK clinical trial regulations, MHRA and HRA/REC requirements
  • Coordinate CTA and ethics submissions
  • Maintain inspection readiness, including TMF oversight

What you'll bring:

  • Life sciences or healthcare degree; PMP/PRINCE2 an advantage
  • 5–8 years' clinical research experience, including 2–3 years in project or study management
  • Proven track record delivering Phase I/II/III trials to time and budget
  • Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and the HRA/MHRA approval process
  • Right to work in the UK
