Consultant Psychiatrist | Locum Opportunities | Essex

Essential Requirements
- Full GMC registration with a current license to practise
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register in Psychiatry
- Current Approved Clinician status
- Current Section 12 approval
- Recent NHS Psychiatry experience
- Right to work in the UK
Key Responsibilities
Depending on the service, responsibilities may include:
- Providing consultant clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team
- Assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with complex mental health needs
- Developing and reviewing personalised treatment and risk-management plans
- Undertaking responsibilities under the Mental Health Act
- Providing clinical supervision and guidance to medical colleagues
- Contributing to service governance, quality, and patient-safety objectives
