Company Description
Dr. Nikki Teper & Associates is a private clinical psychology practice offering confidential therapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Based in Elstree in North-West London, the practice is committed to delivering professional, personalised care grounded in high standards and strict confidentiality. The team focuses on fostering a relaxed, trusting therapeutic relationship to support meaningful psychological work. Clients are offered a safe, warm environment to explore thoughts and feelings away from everyday pressures, with the aim of understanding and managing difficulties more effectively. Founded in 2009 by Dr. Nikki Teper, the practice has gained public recognition through features on Channel 4 programmes including “Born Naughty” and “Dispatches.”

Role Description
The Clinical Psychologist will provide evidence-based psychological assessment and therapy to a diverse client group, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Conducting structured clinical interviews
- Administering and interpreting psychological tests
- Developing and implementing treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate, timely clinical records
- Risk assessment
- Multidisciplinary communication where appropriate
- Contributing to clinical supervision and case discussions within the practice
The psychologist will be expected to uphold high ethical and professional standards, ensure strict confidentiality, and support a calm, welcoming therapeutic environment. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Greater London.
Qualifications and What We're Looking For:
- Strong foundation in Psychology, with a focus on Clinical Psychology and applied mental health practice.
- Competence in Psychological Testing, including administration, scoring, and interpretation of standardized assessments.
- Extensive experience working in Mental Health settings, delivering structured therapy for a range of presentations.
- Ability to provide or participate in Clinical Supervision, including reflective practice and case formulation discussions.
- Training and experience in Clinical Psychology approaches, such as CBT, psychodynamic, systemic, or integrative therapies.
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or international equivalent) and current professional registration (e.g., HCPC or relevant regulatory body).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse ages and backgrounds.
- Strong ethical judgment, commitment to confidentiality, and sensitivity to cultural, social, and individual differences.
- Experience in private practice or community mental health settings is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, manage a clinical caseload, and use electronic record-keeping systems effectively.
