The Islington Integrated Locality Therapies Team (IILTT) is a friendly and dynamic multidisciplinary community rehabilitation service supporting adults with neurological conditions and complex physical disabilities across Islington.
We Are Seeking an Enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist
We are seeking an enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join our team and work alongside the Lead Clinical Neuropsychologist. This varied role offers opportunities to undertake specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessment, formulation, and intervention, supporting individuals experiencing the emotional, cognitive, and behavioural impact of neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to neuropsychological assessments for patients referred by Consultant Neurologists under the care of the Whittington Hospital’s Outpatient Neurology Department, gaining experience across a wide range of neurological presentations.
- Provide specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessment, formulation, and intervention for adults with neurological conditions and complex physical disabilities within the Islington Integrated Locality Therapies (IILT) Stroke and Neurorehabilitation Team.
- Deliver specialist neuropsychological assessments for patients referred by Consultant Neurologists within the Whittington Hospital Outpatient Neurology Department, providing experience across a broad range of neurological presentations and diagnostic questions.
- Supervise trainee and assistant psychologists, contribute to teaching and training activities, and provide consultation and support to multidisciplinary colleagues.
- Contribute to service development, audit, research, and quality improvement initiatives, ensuring services remain evidence-based and responsive to patient needs.
- Maintain high professional standards through ongoing CPD, clinical governance activities, and adherence to HCPC, BPS, and Trust policies and procedures.
