Essential Qualifications & Skills
Clinical Expertise (Most Important)
Equivalent recognized clinical qualification with demonstrated experience delivering evidence-based psychological frameworks.
Clinical Governance
Deep understanding of ethical standards, safeguarding, risk management, and clinical accuracy in public-facing guidance.
Analytical Precision
The ability to review digital mental health content, toolkits, and user pathways critically to ensure clinical validity and safety.
Desirable Qualities & Experience
- Interest or experience in HealthTech, digital mental health interventions, or NHS digital safety standards (such as DCB0129 / Clinical Safety Officer frameworks).
- Clear communication skills to translate complex psychological concepts into accessible, supportive digital content.

What will you be doing?
Role Summary & Purpose
We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to serve as our Clinical Lead and assure the accuracy, safety, and integrity of our online materials. This position offers a unique professional development opportunity if you did want to bridge traditional psychology with HealthTech by gaining experience in digital clinical risk management and training toward the formal Clinical Safety Officer (CSO) framework used across the NHS. This is optional.

Key Responsibilities & Priorities
Clinical Accuracy
Review digital content, psychoeducational resources, and website information to ensure all guidance aligns with current evidence-based psychological practice and ethical guidelines.
Governance & Standards
Ensure our digital touchpoints abide by professional clinical rules, safeguarding protocols, and regulatory expectations (e.g., HCPC, BPS).
Digital Mental Health Risk Management
Collaborate on identifying potential clinical hazards associated with user journeys, signposting, and self-help tools—building toward full DCB0129 clinical safety compliance.
Key Deliverables
- Clinical sign-off on public-facing copy, mental health toolkits, and digital resources.
- A clear clinical risk framework for digital user interactions.
Ideal Candidate
A qualified Clinical Psychologist interested in digital health innovation, digital clinical governance, and expanding their skill set into digital product safety.
