Clinical Quality Manager

Based at Colten House, Ringwood BH24 3FE

40 hours per week plus 'on call' requirements

£77,000 per annum (inclusive of car allowance) plus bonus

Are you looking for that next step to champion clinical / quality excellence? If so this is the job for you. It’s to be part of our assurance team of 5 driving forward our clinical excellence and quality standards.

The role is based from our Head Office in Ringwood. You will work supporting a cluster of homes (approx. 7) supporting our Clinical Leads in each home to drive forward clinical and quality excellence. It's key to making a real difference to the lives of our residents and supporting them to live fulfilled lives.

You will be a regular visitor to our homes undertaking focused visits supporting the clinical needs of the home and supporting the actions required from the compliance audits. You will be the clinical “go to person” for the Clinical Leads and Nursing teams and therefore you will need to be at the top of your game with clinical knowledge and expertise. You will know what excellent clinical care is all about and you will be able to use your expertise to guide support and work with our nursing teams.

To deliver consistent clinical excellence you will also support the home’s and play a key and essential role in shaping Clinical Governance ensuring that all standards are being met to help reduce clinical risk for our residents. You will impart knowledge to Clinical Leads through special Clinical Lead update days and take a lead in review and development of clinical policies.

You will role model outstanding clinical leadership. Your expert knowledge will support in the recruitment and retention of nurses, shaping and delivering clinical training and development of our Clinical Leads and Senior Nurses to ensure that all our homes are clinically well led and managed to a high standard. You will also share responsibility for the development of Student Nurses and Preceptees. You’ll be a confident coach and mentor, sharing best practice, challenging and improving areas of weaker practice.

About you

As a senior leader and Registered Nurse, you will evidence a proven track record working across multiple sites in a clinical quality leadership role.

It is essential that you have previous experience of risk management and clinical governance to operate competently at a strategic level. You will collect, analyse and act on data, enabling you to focus on the homes that need support and attention. An effective communicator with a professional approach, you’ll be able to build an excellent rapport with our care home teams inspiring confidence through your clinical expertise.

As this is a regional role, you will be expected to drive and be flexible in your approach to working, with the addition of ‘on-call’ responsibilities. A car allowance is offered with this role.
