Clinical Receptionist/Administrator (Maternity Cover - 12 months)

Our client is seeking a dedicated Clinical Receptionist/Administrator to join their dynamic team for a maternity cover position! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to make a difference in patients' lives, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Position: Clinical Administrator (Maternity Cover)
Location: M13, near universities
Duration: 12 months
Working Hours: 8.30am - 5pm
Please note this role is fully office based
Key Responsibilities:
- Inbox Management: Monitor the admin team inbox, responding to and signposting emails promptly to ensure smooth operations.
- Phone Communication: Answer incoming calls with professionalism, taking messages and providing information as needed.
- Patient Interaction: Greet patients and visitors warmly, updating the appointment diary, issuing paperwork and ensuring a comfortable experience.
- Delivery Coordination: Manage the receipt of deliveries to the clinic and provide access for service providers, including clinical waste collections.
- Appointment Scheduling: Book appointments for patients, liaising with referring consultants for progress updates.
- Safety Checks: Conduct weekly testing of the fire alarm system to maintain clinic safety.
- Stationery Management: Compile and manage monthly stationery orders, ensuring the team is well-stocked.
- Office Upkeep: Maintain and tidy communal areas, including waiting rooms, lobbies, corridors, and restrooms.
- General Office Duties: Perform tasks such as photocopying and scanning while ensuring the security of the clinic.
- Team Collaboration: Work efficiently alongside the admin team, participating in regular administration and team meetings.

What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a reception and administration role is essential
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
- Exceptional organisational abilities with attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a healthcare role is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in office software and familiarity with appointment scheduling systems.
