Help shape the future of healthcare through research.
We're looking for a motivated and organised individual to support the delivery of clinical research studies. You'll work closely with research teams, healthcare professionals and patients to help recruit participants, coordinate study visits, collect and manage data, and ensure studies are delivered to the highest standards.
What You'll Do
- Support the set-up and promotion of clinical research studies.
- Identify and recruit eligible participants.
- Coordinate appointments, questionnaires and study procedures.
- Collect, maintain and process research data and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with clinical teams to ensure excellent participant care.
- Support audits, governance requirements and study compliance.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and a passion for improving patient outcomes through research.

To collaborate with relevant departments to streamline trial setup, promote NIHR studies with clinical services and/or within the communities, and attend clinical meetings. Screening medical records against strict protocols, identify eligible patients, obtain informed consent, and handle electronic randomisation. To schedule appointments, prepare visit documents/equipment, record vital observations (BP, heart rate, temperature), and safely Transport and process blood samples. To accurately transcribe data from medical records into electronic or paper Case Report Forms (CRFs) and resolve data queries. To Maintain strict compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines, update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and manage site files for audits. To act as a flexible team player across a Monday–Friday 9–5 service, managing stakeholder enquiries with confidentiality.
