About the Role
King’s is seeking to appoint a Chief of Staff to the Senior Vice President (SVP) Research & Special Initiatives within the Vice-Chancellor’s Office. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, the Chief of Staff will play a crucial role in supporting the SVP in managing and coordinating the activities of the Research & Special Initiatives department.

Responsibilities will include:
- Providing strategic support and advice to the SVP
- Coordinating and managing the SVP’s schedule and calendar
- Acting as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting in the development and implementation of initiatives aligned with the university’s strategic goals
- Ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the department and with other university departments

Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a higher education or research institution
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
- A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
