Research Nurse / Research Practitioner (CRP) - Part-time (24 hours per week)
We are looking for an experienced Research Nurse / Research Practitioner (CRP) - Part-time (24 hours per week) to join the Research and Innovation team at Queen Victoria Hospital.
We undertake work across a range of specialties, which means plenty of variety in the role - from questionnaire studies right up to full scale clinical drug/device trials. You'll need good organisational skills, high attention to detail, and considerable experience working in clinical research.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated research nurse or practitioner who can work independently while contributing actively to a supportive multidisciplinary research team.
Responsibilities
The postholder will coordinate a portfolio of clinical research studies across the Trust’s specialist services. They will identify and recruit eligible participants, support informed consent, coordinate research-related assessments and follow-up, and maintain accurate study documentation and data.

Working closely with principal investigators, clinical teams, support departments, sponsors and research networks, the postholder will help ensure that studies are set up and delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with the protocol, Good Clinical Practice and applicable research governance requirements.
