Role Overview
We are currently looking for a Clinical Application Specialist to join a leading global medtech company based in the Netherlands to join their team. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong clinical background who is motivated to transition into or expand within a commercial role. The position offers the chance to work within a dynamic environment where clinical expertise is highly valued, and your technical knowledge will be key to supporting customer success.
This role is suited for individuals who are passionate about healthcare technology and eager to develop their commercial skills. It provides a unique opportunity to leverage your ICU or high-acuity hospital experience in a customer-facing position, helping to drive sales and promote innovative medical devices.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Your duties as the Clinical Application Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Serve as a clinical expert and trusted advisor, supporting the adoption and implementation of medical devices in the field.
- Provide technical training, demonstrations, and support to clinical professionals, primarily nurses and healthcare staff.
- Engage with end-users to gather feedback and ensure the correct application of products, facilitating successful trial and adoption processes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clinical and procurement teams to support tender activities and product sales.
- As the Clinical Application Specialist, you will maintain ongoing clinical and technical product knowledge to assist in customer onboarding and troubleshooting.

Role Requirements
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Clinical Application Specialist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- A Degree or higher level in a clinical field (e.g., Nursing, Paramedic, or Healthcare Science).
- Proven clinical experience in ICU or similar high-acuity environments, with familiarity of infusion pumps and device testing.
- Experience or interest in transitioning into a commercial role, such as application or product specialist, with a willingness to develop sales skills.
- Fluency in Dutch and English, with strong communication skills tailored to clinical audiences.
