What you'll be doing:
- Running prescribing and wellbeing clinics
- Keeping safeguarding strong and making sure everyone stays safe
- Looking after clinical audits and checking how the service is performing
- Finding ways to keep improving the service
- Supporting your nursing team through supervision, appraisals and training
- Making sure everyone works to professional standards
What we're looking for
We need someone who leads by example and brings out the best in others.
You'll need:
- To be a senior nurse with experience in drug and alcohol services
- NMC registration with an active PIN
- A good understanding of safeguarding, substance use and the laws around it
- The ability to spot signs of substance use and understand the challenges people face
- Builds great relationships with colleagues, commissioners and the people we support
- Feels confident speaking up, sharing ideas and bringing people with you
