Summary

The Clinical Services Strategic Administrator provides essential administrative and coordination support to Clinical Services. The role focuses on maintaining governance standards, supporting regulatory compliance, and enabling effective delivery of clinical strategy and service development. The position requires strong organisational capability, relationship-building skills, and attention to detail to ensure high-quality support across clinical operations.

Location: Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Aylesbury

Contract: Permanent, working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours

Responsibilities

  • Support CQC Nominated Individual and Registered Manager by maintaining governance evidence.
  • Maintain clinical governance trackers, including training, compliance, incidents, safeguarding, notifications, and complaints.
  • Monitor changes to CQC expectations and update stakeholders.
  • Support clinical governance processes and maintain Learning Management System and SharePoint content.
  • Provide support for patient record systems and system improvements (EMIS/SystmOne).
  • Manage iWantGreatCare processes and reporting.
  • Administer equipment contracts and support development of clinical resources.
  • Coordinate annual mandatory training.
  • Support strategic projects and induction of new clinical staff.
  • Provide administrative support for conferences and events.
  • Complete additional duties as requested by Clinical leadership.

Essential Functions Of The Role

  • Communicate effectively via email, phone, and virtual platforms.
  • Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with company and legal standards.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adhere to company policies, including those related to ADA, data privacy, and ethics.

Education & Work Requirements

  • Associate's Degree with 2-4 years of related experience

Education & Work Preferences

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency with IT tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Experience using patient record systems (EMIS/SystmOne).
  • Ability to deliver work to deadlines and adapt to evolving requirements.
  • Experience in a CQC-registered service with knowledge of Fundamental Standards.
  • Project management experience (preferred).
  • Experience working cross-functionally and supporting process improvements.
  • Experience in Registration Authority management or Smart Card sponsorship.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across clinical teams.

What We Offer

  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is £26,000 - £34,000, depending on experience or other legitimate business factors
