About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced cancer nurse to take on this specialist nursing role. You will primarily work within the Aylesford Unit at Warwick Hospital although due to service demand there may be cross-site cover required for the Rigby Unit, Stratford Hospital also.
The post requires vision, innovation and the ability to work across professional boundaries, underpinned by a real desire to provide the highest standards of patient care. You will work within the day case, out patient and inpatient settings. As an experienced haematology or oncology nurse, you will be required to develop your knowledge and skills to undertake nurse-led assessment and nurse-led clinics.

You will be part of a committed team of professionals and work closely with the Nurse Consultant – Cancer Services, the Advanced Nurse Practitioners and other Specialist Practitioners within our team. Working Hours
You will primarily work a shift Monday to Friday. This may also include evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. Flexible team working is essential to meet our service needs.
Responsibilities
The post holder will work primarily at the Aylesford Unit and be based within the Chemotherapy Suite. They will work in partnership with the Nurse Consultant, Specialist Practitioners and Unit Manager supporting the delivery of a consistently high quality and cost effective service.
