NHS Supply Chain is seeking a clinically qualified professional with specialist expertise in Interventional Radiology to join our Clinical Team. Working in partnership with procurement colleagues, you will lead a dedicated clinical portfolio, providing expert advice to support the delivery of safe, high-quality, and cost-effective products and services for NHS organisations nationwide.
Reporting to the Head of Clinical Lead, you will use your clinical knowledge and stakeholder engagement skills to influence product strategy, range optimisation, and service resilience. Working closely with NHS providers, professional bodies, and suppliers, you will help ensure our product offerings support patient safety, improved outcomes, and sustainable value across the healthcare system.
Every day you will …
- Engage with clinicians, NHS providers and procurement teams to understand product requirements and support service improvement opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure clinical needs are reflected in product decisions.
- Lead product evaluations, develop specifications and use clinical data to support evidence-based decision making.
- Drive product optimisation and standardisation initiatives that improve patient outcomes, service resilience and value.
- Provide clinical leadership across projects, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and successful delivery of key objectives.
- Collaborate with NHS organisations, professional bodies and industry partners to remain aligned with national strategies, best practice and emerging developments.
- Work flexibly from home with regular travel to NHS hospitals and NHS Supply Chain locations, engaging with a wide range of clinical, non-clinical and supplier stakeholders to support collaboration and service delivery.

What skills will help you thrive in this role?
- A clinically qualified healthcare professional with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to build credibility and influence through specialist clinical knowledge and experience.
- Strong analytical, IT and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information, understand clinical requirements and support evidence-based decision making.
- Experience of building effective professional relationships and networks across healthcare organisations and industry, with project management experience being advantageous.
- Self-motivated and highly organised, with the ability to manage a diverse workload, adapt to new challenges and work independently in a remote environment.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the UK and confidence working with a wide range of clinical, commercial and operational stakeholders.
