The Opportunity
Abbott’s Neuromodulation business is expanding the team by recruiting for a Clinical Specialist in London area, Oxford and Southampton to support customers and deliver best in class implantation and follow-up of DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) and SCS (Spinal Cord Stimulation) across designated NHS and private hospitals.
Ideal candidate’s location: West London area, High Wycombe, Surrey, Guildford
What you’ll do:
- Provide primary technical support to customers during implantation and follow-up
- Perform Complex device/ programming troubleshooting independently
- Assist in the management and delivery of regional customer education training events
- Develop a clear understanding of regional account objectives and strategy for all accounts within the assigned region
- To build strong and professional relationships in various hospital settings
- Support regional NMD business strategy, via product implantation cover in accounts as agreed with the leadership team

This is a field based role with willingness to travel min 75% of the time.
What you’ll need
- BSc degree, ideally in a Scientific discipline
- Experience in medical devices industry or physiotherapist/Pain Nurse looking to move into industry
- Knowledge of UK healthcare market
- Demonstrate ability to be flexible and adaptable with regards working hours and location of customer support
- Strong Communication Skills: Verbal and Written.
- Familiarity with clinic setting and operating room procedures and protocol (preferred)
- Good keyboard skills and presentation skills to include: MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point and Email
