Are you a Band 6 Physiotherapist with an interest in respiratory?

Are you passionate about working with patients with long-term respiratory conditions?

If yes, read on!

We are looking for dynamic and motivated physiotherapists with a passion for managing long-term respiratory conditions to join the team within Adult Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Based within the Northern General Hospital, this role will be based within the adult Cystic Fibrosis unit.

Sheffield Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre is a specialist regional centre which treats patients over the age of 16 years across the local area but reaching as far afield as Grimsby. With strong links with colleagues at the Sheffield Children's Hospital, we aim to ensure a smooth transition into adult care and beyond. This small but purpose-built unit consistently receives positive feedback from patients, who praise the friendly and dedicated team and the inpatient environment with purpose-built facilities.

Working within this service will offer opportunity to work collaboratively with highly experienced and passionate MDT colleagues to support the patient experience in both areas and deliver optimal patient care.

Skills

As a Band 7 physiotherapist you will continue to build on your clinical knowledge and skills within a highly specialist area but will also have opportunity to develop:

  • Leadership Skills
    • Taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of the area.
    • Supervising, mentoring and coaching to support and develop the future physiotherapy workforce.
    • Improving your knowledge of the wider STH/NHS processes.
    • Quality improvement.
    • Participation in service improvement and development projects within acute therapy services and within the field of CF where service improvement is constantly ongoing to meet the changing needs of patients.
  • Education
    • Utilising your teaching skills through the provision of high-quality education both to members of Acute Therapy Services and multi-disciplinary teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
